Teams had to build a device that would hold a fan to keep me cool at my desk.  The tricky part is that each team was split into two groups that could not meet face-to-face.  One group was responsible for the design and budget and the other group was responsible for building it.  Their only communication was written design docs and the telephone.  

This fun and successful project got us all psyched for working on either US coasts plus our new India office without worrying about the distance barrier.
