Bush unhappy that Iraq didn't have WMD
October 12, 2004 6:01 PM
This is a quote from Bush during the second debate:
I wasn't happy when we found out there wasn't weapons, and we've got an intelligence group together to figure out why.
Here's what we can gather from wise ol' Bush:
- He's not happy that he was lieing and Saddam was telling the truth about the WMD's.
- He's not happy that Saddam wasn't fully armed (maybe he wanted a more fair fight).
- He has an intelligence group together to figure out why he's unhappy.

And yes, "wasn't weapons" it should be at the very least "weren't weapons."

Interesting twisting and perversion of what was said...
actually, what he was saying was he acted on the best information he was provided with at the time, and it's unfortunate that information was found afterward to be flawed...
but you're not interested in the actual intent of the statement, are you...? You're not interested in giving the man any credit for being honest, for being candid, or truthful, are you...?
The intelligence group was put together to find out why our intelligence system failed, and it failed because of previous presidents decisions starting with Ford not to pay for informants, and to eliminate our spy network... but you're not interested in that information either, are you...?

"He has an intelligence group together to figure out why he's unhappy."
immature and childish... in any case, I really can't recall when I've come across a more inane statement being made...http://www.DylanGreene.com

#3 - it's called humor/sarcasm. Sometimes that's the only escape when faced with hearing such terrible things from our President.

oh, okay... I'll have to work on some humor/sarcasm for the terrible things we keep hearing from the senator from massachussets...

If he's really saying that he was not happy because of the flaws of our intelligence system, don't you think that he would say that he was upset when he found out that our intelligence was wrong? Don't you think that he would say what was on his mind? Instead, he said that he was not happy when we found out there wasn't weapons of mass destruction. Do you think he said what was on his mind or do you think he just accidentally said what was not on his mind? What do you think would have made him really happy?
