Halo 2 has gone gold! In stores Nov 9th, 2004.

Microsoft's Bungie office has announced that Halo 2 is complete, tested, certified, and officially blessed, and will be in stores on time and in massive qualities on November 9th exclusive to XBOX.
To celebrate, they've put out a 87 MB video: Direct Download, BitTorrent.

The Story Line is horrible it's too cliche for anyone above 13 yrs old, the only plus it has is decent graphics and multiplayer thats almost as fun as Counter-Strike but still uncomparable maybe if halo gets mods to make up for the lack of characters and some better game modes try something original then it'll be maybe a 6/10

I was hoping for a better ending for HALO 2 or at least when there might be another HALO game coming perhaps HALO 3 to end all of it. HALO 2 was just too simple. ANYBODY know where I can go to buy a full size adult HALO Master Chief costume I really gotta have one. JUST TOO COOL........TOOOOOO COOOOL

halo 2 is awsome in multiplayer of co op but the story line sucks! the ending concludes that there is going to be a third one. so a word to the creators of halo make better guns and a better longer story line like the first.

That's by and far the most in depth analysis I've ever heard from someone with the education of a peruvian cabbage farmer. Keep up the great work.
Sigh, another sorry attempt at recycling a successful product that offered little in the way of original or intuitive gameplay in its original incarnation. From the non-fanatic's point of view, it has okay graphics, shaky controls and the gameplay is as repetitive as the first for those who have played a few other FPS games. It isn't terrible, but it certainly isn't something I'd pay more than bargain bin prices for. 6/10 is about right.
