Thinhaler: the asthma inhaler that's the size of a credit card
August 6, 2004 5:03 PM
Great idea: Instead of that normal bulky asthma inhaler, this cool design from Adam Bates, a student in the UK, fits nicely a wallet.
It holds less doses, 50 instead of 200, but for those that have to take their inhalers everywhere they go, size matters. The cost is expected to be the same.
I haven't seen any articles that mention if any companies are planning on using this unique design.

Yeah fab stuff. It would appear that this indicative of the university course Adam Bates studied at Brunel as I have heard of a number of other designers coming up with great award winning products who have graduate from the same department, check out www.goodthinking.org.uk and keep your eye out for www.sharperdesign.co.uk

i think its an amazing design but can u tell me where i can pick it up from , i have seen a couple more designs which are good but the problem is that non of them are available in India, i hate the one we have here , its too big and collects dust!!

There is already an international patent filed way before this inhaler was invented that covers this and any similar type of design so I would be careful what any of you are wasting your time designing !
