Funny Windows Codename Longhorn Video from Microsoft

October 29, 2003 5:05 PM

Microsoft architects Don Box (Indigo, the new web services engine) and Chris Anderson (Avalon, the new user interface engine) show off how much easier it is to build cool UI's using Avalon and XAML in Longhorn in this video which is actually pretty funny.

Update (a few seconds later): They also demo the usage of Indigo. Web services in three lines or less... Very nice.

If you are looking for Longhorn vidoes, this page has a bunch from PDC: http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/pdc2003.asp

I am looking for a PDC copy of Windows Longhorn. Everyone that I have asked told me to post it up here. Please reply on how to get one.

Who's everybody? I have PDC Longhorn, but I'm not authorized to distribute it. If you are looking for warez, sorry, you are in the wrong spot.

You can download the PDC version of Longhorn if you are a member of MSDN Universal (http://msdn.microsoft.com). If you aren't a member, well, hmm... ask to be a beta tester, or be patient. I'm sure Windows Longhorn will have more beta testers than any other Microsoft product before it.

so, so
